Mama Maya & Mama Rosa's Garden of Kindness
On a bright Saturday morning, Mama Maya with her brown curly hair and Mama Rosa with her auburn curls woke up early with their little sprout, Sammy.
Their tiny garden behind the yellow house was full of lavender, sunflowers, and strawberries. "Today we will share," said Mama Maya, handing Sammy a little green watering can.
They dug little holes and planted seeds together. Sammy laughed as earth got on his blue overalls with the sunflower pocket.
When neighbors passed by, Mama Rosa smiled, "Would you like some seeds to plant too?" She gave them little paper packets with hearts drawn on them.
All afternoon, the family watered, sang, and watched bees buzz around. The garden smelled like fresh earth and sunshine.
By sunset, not only their garden but the whole lane was starting to bloom, because when you share kindness, it grows everywhere.
